What time is afternoon tea served? 

Afternoon tea is served Monday to Sunday from 12:30pm to 4:00pm in the restaurant.

Can non-residential guests VISIT THE BATH PRIORY? 

Non-residential guests and visitors are very welcome to join us for dining at The Bath Priory. To avoid disappointment, we invite you to reserve a table prior to your visit.

Traveling to and from THE BATH PRIORY 

Car

Directions from the M4
Exit the M4 at Junction 18 for Bath and follow the A46 towards the city. At the first roundabout, take the third exit onto the A420 towards Bristol. After approximately one mile, as the road begins to descend, turn left following signs for "Bath Park & Ride." Continue along this scenic country lane until you reach a T-junction; turn left here.

Proceed past Bath Racecourse and, shortly after The Charlcombe Inn, turn right into Lansdown Lane (signposted Weston). Descend the hill to a roundabout and take the first exit onto Weston High Street. Continue through the village, passing Boots Pharmacy and the second Lansdown Mazda garage.

Turn left into Weston Lane, follow it to the end, and proceed straight onto Weston Road. The Bath Priory will be immediately on your right, next to the Weston Chiropractic Clinic.

Rail

Bath Spa Station is approximately one and a half miles from the hotel and there are a number options for transport between the two destinations. There is a local public bus service that operates from the city centre to directly outside the hotel, or alternatively taxis are readily available. First Great Western trains operate hourly between Bath and London.

Air

Bristol International Airport is just 20 miles from the hotel and offers a number of public and private transfer options.

A new direct bus servcie from Bath city centre to Bristol International Airport with 'The Bath Bus Company' is being launched during February/March 2013.

London Heathrow is only 90 miles from the hotel and National Express Coaches offer a direct service to Bath Spa station, or alternatively, we would be happy to organise a private transfer for you.

What time is check-in and check-out? 

Although your room is available to check-in from 3pm, and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure, guests are welcome to arrive earlier or stay after they’ve checked out to enjoy the hotel lounge or explore Bath and enjoy our lounges, spa or gardens.

Are dogs allowed at THE BATH PRIORY? 

Guests wishing to bring their dog are welcome to book one of our designated Premier Deluxe Rooms, 'Foxglove' or 'Moringa'—please call us directly to make arrangements. A charge of £25 per dog, per night applies, which includes a dog bed and water bowl. While dogs are not permitted in public areas such as the restaurant, library, drawing room, or spa, they are welcome in The Pantry & Terrace, and can enjoy our beautiful grounds and nearby walks. We kindly ask that dogs are kept on a lead in public spaces and that waste bins are used as needed. If leaving your dog unattended in the room for a short time, please inform reception. Guide dogs and accredited assistance dogs are welcome throughout the hotel.

Are children welcome at THE BATH PRIORY? 

Children of all ages are welcome to stay at The Bath Priory and infants (aged 0 - 2) stay for free. Children (aged 3 - 16) will be on the same rate (e.g. bed & breakfast) as the adults on their reservation.

Children are welcome to join us in the restaurant until 8:00pm, with last orders being placed by 7:00pm. As well as The Garden Menu for V.I.L.P (very important little people) smaller portions can be enjoyed from any of our 'grown up' menus.

Spa kids swimming time from 9.30am to 11am and 3.30pm to 5pm daily

Require a laundry or ironing services during your stay? 

Dry cleaning and clothes pressing services are available during your stay for an additional charge. Your items will be returned to you within 24 hours. Items must be handed to reception before 8am. Dry cleaning services are not available on Sundays. You will find an iron and ironing board in your room.

Do you have interconnecting rooms? 

No interconnecting rooms are available, please contact reception who can advise on room configurations that may be suitable for you and your guests.

Do you have family rooms? 

We have 2 family suites at the hotel. Camden & Somerset. Our Family Crescent Suites contain living rooms and separate bedrooms; one with an additional single bed and another with bunk beds for two children. Most of our Premier Deluxe Rooms can accommodate either a sofa bed or extra bed.

What time is breakfast served? 

Breakfast is served in the Restaurant between 07:00 until 10:00 Monday-Saturday, 07:30 until 10:00 on Sundays.

What is the dress code in the restaurant? 

The dress code for the dining room is smart casual.

Can I book a private event at THE BATH PRIORY?

Does the hotel provide walking maps? 

We have a selection of recommended walking routes around Bath and its surrounding, please speak to the Reception team for more information.

Where can I smoke or vape around THE BATH PRIORY? 

You are free to smoke outside, where ashtrays are provided. Please don’t smoke or vape inside our public rooms or inside your own room. Smoking indoors is prohibited and will incur a charge.

How much notice is required to book activities around THE BATH PRIORY? 

Board games: A wide selection of board games and playing cards is available for the whole family to enjoy at any time.

Archery, Axe Throwing, or Laser Clay Shooting: Must please be reserved 15 days prior to the date of the activity and are pre-paid and non-refundable.

Bridgerton and Jane Austen Walking Tours:
Led by Fred Mawer, a professional Blue Badge-qualified tour guide, this 3-hour walking tour reveals insider details on a host of film and TV productions shot in the city. These include the Netflix hit Bridgerton, ITV detective drama McDonald & Dodds, Wonka, upcoming Agatha Christie drama The Seven Dials Mystery, and various Jane Austen adaptations. After the tour, unwind with an afternoon tea at The Bath Priory, where you can indulge in exquisite teas, sandwiches and pastries. Perfect for film buffs and afternoon tea enthusiasts alike. Natural pigment experience: The art of earth’s colours: Please provide a 14-day notice.

Croquet: No pre-booking required. If you need any assistance or help with the rules, our reception team will be happy to help.

French Boules: No pre-booking required. Please let Reception know when you are ready to play.

Yoga: No pre-booking required. Collect a mat and yoga guide from Reception and head out into the great outdoors to dive into your yoga practice at your own pace.
