The Priory Restaurant

The Bath Priory has a long held reputation for delivering outstanding cuisine, our restaurant is the first choice for special occasions, family celebrations and intimate dinners amongst the residents of Bath.

Our Dining Rooms

The dining room is light filled and spacious overlooking the stunning gardens and offering a relaxing ambience. The more intimate "Browns" is sumptuous and luxurious, featuring deep damask banquette seating, rich colours and a backdrop of simply stunning paintings adorning the walls. Whichever dining room becomes your own personal favourite you will be assured of a very fine gastronomic experience.

Cuisine

Executive Chef Sam Moody has created a reputation for exciting flavours, fine quality food and the delivery of a culinary experience that will delight time and again. Sam has a genuine passion for developing menus that use fresh, local ingredients; his supplier relationships are very strong, his salad leaves are grown locally and to his precise requirements: the link between food and cuisine does not come much closer than this. Of course the most local supplier is the Priory's own Kitchen Garden. The planting here is a collaboration between kitchen and garden with some interesting experimentation and some fine produce making its way direct from field to plate.

Sam was awarded a Michelin star in 2012, an incredible achievement that showcases his dedication and talent.

Fine wine to complement fine food
