Families
Knowing that family time is very precious, The Bath Priory provides many facilities for children so that you are able to make the most of your family holiday.
Young children, as long as they are accompanied by an adult, are welcome to use the indoor and outdoor pools (time restrictions apply) and the gardens are ideal for little explorers (although watch out for the pond with toddlers!). There is a croquet set available and toy boxes are also at hand to keep your young ones entertained in your room. Easter is particularly popular with the children, when Easter egg hunts are held in the gardens.
Younger guests (under the age of eight) are welcome in the restaurant before 6pm, when high tea can be arranged. When parents need a little time for themselves, baby monitors and qualified, Ofsted-approved babysitters can be pre-booked. High chairs are available in the restaurant and cots can be booked in the rooms.
The four luxurious and welcoming suites, situated in "The Lindens" (an adjacent building) provide the perfect retreat for families. Each light and spacious suite is well equipped with its own kitchenette and lounge area and has glorious views over the gardens.
The Bath Priory also provides thoughtful little touches in the rooms for children - gorgeous polka dot dressing gowns and toy boxes with toys to suit their age. If your young ones get bored with the toys, there are also plenty of children's DVDs to choose from.
There is plenty in and around Bath for children to enjoy - from adventure playgrounds and sprawling parks with duck ponds, to indoor soft play centres, wildlife attractions, zoos and a children's theatre. The Bath Priory's Guest Services' Manager will be happy to provide further information, along with a personalised itinerary.
The excellent combination of attentive service, luxurious surroundings and superb food make this a family friendly hotel with a difference.
Dogs welcome!
As well as being 'family friendly', The Bath Priory also welcomes your canine friends. There are three dog friendly rooms in the main hotel where your dog will be made to feel right at home. There is a charge of £10.00 per dog. Dog bowls are provided and a dog basket, should this be required. Exercising your little friends could not be easier, with Royal Victoria Park right on the doorstep. The hotel is not able to accept puppies in the rooms (dogs must be ten months or over).
