Families & Pets
The Bath Priory provides many facilities for children so that you are able to make the most of your family holiday.
Young children, as long as they are accompanied by an adult, are welcome to use the indoor and outdoor pools (time restrictions apply) and the gardens are ideal for little explorers - although watch out for the pond with toddlers. There is a croquet set available for children to use in the gardens. Easter is particularly popular with the children, when Easter egg hunts are held in the gardens.
Children over 12 years are more than welcome to dine in our restaurant from the a la carte menu, or alternatively we propose a children's high tea between 5pm - 6pm. Room service is also available. When parents need a little time for themselves, Ofsted-approved babysitters can be pre-booked. High chairs are available in the restaurant and cots can be provided in the rooms.
The luxurious suites Camden & Somerset, situated in our Crescent Suites, provide the perfect retreat for families. Somerset provides bunkbeds, perfect for children, and Camden has an extra single room. Some of our light and spacious lounge areas in the suites offer glorious views over the gardens. If your young ones get bored with the toys, there are also plenty of children DVDs to choose from in-room.
There is plenty in and around Bath for children to enjoy - from adventure playgrounds and sprawling parks with duck ponds, to indoor soft play centres, wildlife attractions, zoos and a children's theatre. The Bath Priory's Guest Services' Manager will be happy to provide further information, along with a personalised itinerary.
The excellent combination of attentive service, luxurious surroundings and superb food make this a family friendly hotel with a difference.
As well as being 'family friendly', The Bath Priory also welcomes your canine friends.
There are two dog friendly rooms in the main hotel, Moringa & Foxglove, available for small breeds. Please note that the hotel is not able to accept puppies or large breeds in the rooms (dogs must be ten months or over).
There is a charge of £10.00 per dog, per night and each animal will be provided with a bowl and a dog basket, should this be required.
Exercising your little friends could not be easier with Royal Victoria Park right on the doorstep. Dogs are allowed in our grounds, however we ask that you keep to the far side of the gardens and away from any guests that might be dining.
We request that dogs are kept on leads when passing through the public areas, but otherwise we look forward to welcoming them!
