An Evening with Alister Purbrick of Tahbilk Winery £75.00 per person

Established in 1860, Tahbilk is one of Australia's most beautiful and historic family owned wineries.

It is located in the Nagambie Lakes region of central Victoria (120kms north of Melbourne), one of the nation's premium viticultural areas. Purchased by the Purbrick family in 1925, Tahbilk is now home to five generations of Purbricks. The vineyard has some 200 hectares under vine which includes the rare French Rhone Valley whites of Marsanne, Viognier and Roussanne; and the Rhone reds - Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvedre. Also planted are the traditional varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdelho and new age rising stars Tempranillo and Savignin. Tahbilk is one of Australia’s leading boutique wine estates and as such is one of the twelve iconic, family-owned wineries that have come together as Australia’s First Families of Wine.

Alister Purbrick will guide you through the Tahbilk wines, explaining why they are the perfect choice for the evening's exquisite menu created by our team of talented chefs.

The evening begins at 7.00pm with apéritif and canapés served in the Drawing Room.

Our menu for this fantastic event will follow shortly.
