Dear Isobel,

I wanted to write to say how absolutely wonderful my celebration meal was.  Everything was perfect.  My friends were overwhelmed and haven't stopped talking about it.  We had them all to lunch the following day plus lots of others and The Priory Meal was the main topic of conversation. And this is a group of people quite used to Michelin starred menus which makes it an especially good commendation. Please relay my thanks to all the staff and especially to the chef!  I must say the food combination worked so well.

We spent Monday and Tuesday at Gidleigh Park so I feel well acquainted with the Michael Caines experience!  We were also very fortunate to have crisp sunny weather there.  Thank you all for making my birthday so memorable

Dear Isobel and all at The Bath Priory

We would just like to say a huge thank-you to everyone for all your hard work and effort that went in to our Wedding Reception on 27 July. We had a truly wonderful day with every aspect of our time with you outstanding. It was such a beautiful setting and the food was completely out of this world, so please pass on our thanks to all involved. We'd also like to thank you for making the day (and run up) stress free at our end. We look forward to coming back soon!

Dear Isobel

Apologies for the delay in writing to you. We have just received our wedding album from Jo today and have been reminiscing about our wonderful wedding day. Thank you for all your help in the hosting of our wedding.

The Priory is such a beautiful venue and the restaurant and kitchen teams did a fantastic job for us. Please pass on out thanks to everyone involved, especially Antonio who kept everything perfectly under control. All of our guests have commented on the wonderful food, service and venue. We are so pleased we chose the Priory for our wedding day and have beautiful photos of us in the grounds as a constant reminder of a truly lovely day.

Dear Ms Heather,

I write to thank you and all the hotel staff who served us for a most perfect day.

Of course, the weather helped for once, but everything about the arrangements was all we coudl have wished.

The lunch was a very special family gathering of the kind that happens all too seldom with busy lives and distances to travel. That it was such a sparkling success owed a great deal to the efforts of Sarah and her supporters, particularly those we never see under the chef in the kitchens.

Dear Sue,

I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with my birthday celebrations at The Priory. Everyone was so helpful, efficient and kind, including chambermaids and porters. I'd especially like to thank Isobel, Caroline and Antonio and also Katrin. Nothing was too much trouble and everything went so well - even the sun shone!

Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying afternoon tea, dinner and lunch enormously - I have written to James seperately. One friend has written "I do think the staff at the Priory are exemplary, neither remote nor obsequious, but charming and friendly".

We'll have to ensure that the next celebration is not too distant!

Dear Sue and everyone

A bit belated, but a very sincere thank you to you and everyone at the Priory. We had a really lovely Christmas, everything we wanted and needed and you thought of so many nice things to make everything perfect.

We very much appreciated the gift of wine and the stocking. Our first ever Christmas away from the family so we haven’t been able to confess to them just how good it was!

Dear Isobel,

Thank you to you and all the staff at The Bath Priory Hotel - the chefs, the waitresses and everyone who helped to make by 80th birthday party such a happy occasion. I had a very happy day. All my friends said how much they enjoyed themselves, how pretty the garden was and thank you for warning us of the fireworks on Saturday. I was so tired and content I did not hear the fireworks at all. Again thank you.

Just a line to thank you for your meticulous organisation. Our lunch went extremely well and all our family (many of them serious cooks) were highly complimentary of the food. I had a word with your sous-chef before leaving to say how appreciative we all were of his efforts, and left a gratuity (which I was assured was not expected) to be shared with all those who specifically looked after our party.
