Having started my career in hospitality in Bath, in 2003 I returned to the city to take up the role of House Manager at the Bath Priory. This is my very favourite City in the world and the opportunity to work at the Bath Priory was too good to miss. I fell in love with the Priory on my first visit, it definitely seduced me with its charm and warmth.
My time prior to returning to Bath was spent at the wonderful Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons where I enjoyed eight years learning under the expert guidance of some of the greatest industry professionals. I feel very fortunate to have had that amazing experience it really taught me to understand what it means to deliver a wonderful guest experience - thank you Le Manoir!
I have to confess in taking some time out in between my transition from Le Manoir to The Bath Priory, eight months just for me, where I had the most amazing travelling experience though India, Vietnam, Borneo, New Zealand and South America, a time to be truly treasured.
During my time here at the Priory I have enjoyed watching the guest experience develop and I am so excited after so much hard work to feel that we have found the magical balance in the house that we have been working towards. We offer a very genuine service which is individual and warm and still delivers the level of professionalism that ensures you are being beautifully looked after.
I strongly believe this level of service fits perfectly in the house, time and time again our guests say that the Priory feels like home, somewhere they can relax, kick off their shoes, laugh without being self conscious and enjoy their time in the same way they would if they were entertaining guests in their own dining room. I very much look forward to welcoming you to your home from home.
