Gaelle is responsible for the reception team and ensuring that a high standard of service is delivered at all times, from the initial booking, right through to guests' departure. 

Gaelle spent two years at a Tourism School in Nantes where she obtained a Diploma of Assistant Manager. Since 1992, she has worked in Relais & Châteaux properties in France, such as Castel Novel in Varetz, Puy Robert in Montignac, Pralong Hotel in Courchevel, Le Domaine d'Auriac in Carcassonne and, in Portugal, La Reserve in Santa Barbara de Nexe. Not forgetting the famous hotel in Megeve "Les Fermes de Marie" where she spent three and half years as Assistant Reception Manager. Here, Gaelle learnt not only about catering but also about interior design with Mrs Sibuet, the Manager and author of "A French Country Home".

In August 2001 Gaelle joined The Bath Priory as Head Receptionist, while her husband, Hamid, also joined the hotel as Assistant Restaurant Manager. Originally from Brittany in France, she has always been interested in travelling and learning different languages: English, German, Spanish and Portuguese. Now settled in Bath with her husband Hamid,  plus her daughter Jade and son Luis, Gaelle is enjoying life in England.
