After gaining a BA(Hons) degree in Hotel and Catering Management at Portsmouth University I worked in the dining room at Claridges whilst it was still part of the Savoy Group. This was a time of classical service and great discretion. After this I moved back to Broadway, in the Cotswolds to work at the Lygon Arms ending up as the Assistant Restaurant Manager. A short moved followed to Buckland Manor where I took the role of Assistant Manager, working in the beautiful Relais and Chateaux, with Nigel Power, property for just over fourteen years. This gave me the opportunity to learn all that is necessary to run a small luxury property.
Mr and Mrs Brownsword bought Buckland Manor in October 2011 and I was given the opportunity to join the Bath Priory as General Manager in July of 2012.
