The Bath Priory is one of the country’s few leading hotels with a female General Manager. Sue Williams was formerly operations director at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons and she joined The Bath Priory as General Manager in December 2002.

She has an unashamed fondness for the building, the gardens and The Bath Priory’s highly-regarded staff. “I have always believed that it is possible to be a classic country house hotel, with exemplary service and food, without being stuffy or old-fashioned” she says. “The aim of everyone here is to offer nothing but the best.”
